Susan D. Moore

She was born May 27, 1952, in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of the late Howard A. and Marilyn (Sandridge) Moore, Sr. Susan was a proud veteran of the US Army where she was the first female in an all male military band at Ft. Lee in Virginia. She was lifetime member of the former Freedom United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her brothers: Howard (Kate) Moore Jr. of Garrettsville, Jeff (Violet) Moore of Sistersville, WV, and Richard (Kim) Moore of Bellefontaine, OH; also survived by four nieces and a nephew, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Candace Moore.

Friends will be received Tuesday, July 6, 2010, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Graveside services will be officiated by Reverend Fred Bell on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township.
