Susan Lynn Basinger

Susan was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 7, 1942 to parents Maxwell and Dorothy (Beery) McKee. She retired in 2002 from home health care. Susan loved all animals and was always feeding stray cats. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search games and loved attending garage sales. Susan enjoyed spending time in her home with family.

Susan is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene Basinger, her daughter Cindy Basinger and her son Michael (Sharon) Basinger. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Matthew Basinger, Kris Basinger, Jon Basinger, eight great-grandchildren, her sister Nancy Moore and very special friends Alyson Alexander, Gary Fowler and Michelle Vash.

She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Basinger and her siblings; Joe McKee and Barbara Coe.

Per Susan’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
