The world lost a beautiful lady who's smile could warm your heart, and make for a happy day.  Shirley is with God now enjoying the fruits of her labors.

I remember loving to go visit my brother Neil and sister-in-law Darla when I was a kid because we got to go to Darla's parents house and swim in the lake and play with all their animals. Bruce and Shirley were so nice and were great cooks, especially the ribs! Thanks for the fond memories!

I enjoyed looking at the beautiful geraniums Shirley would plant by her lake every summer, from my kitchen window. She was a special lady. We will miss watching them work together in the yard. God Bless her family. You are all in our thoughts and many prayers.

Aunt Shirley is now with her mother, father & brother.  As my mother's little sister, my memories of Aunt Shirley was she was blond (my mother having dark hair). Aunt Shirley was one of the most talkative members of the family, and always laughing. They always said my mother was the introvert like her father and Aunt Shirley was the extrovert like her mother. I think Aunt Shirley was one of the most positive members of the family – I never heard her say anything bad about a person.  Her hardest task was finding a man my grandmother would allow her to marry.  My grandmother, Laura Keyser kept Aunt Shirley's hair as a child in curls and pig tails and she thought the world of Shirley.  But Bruce came along and I guess he fit in nicely though grandma always told me she kept her eye on Bruce. I was really lucky to see Aunt Shirley last month.  I could see she had been through an awful lot with the cancer, but what a positive attitude she had and the love for her family filled her world. She told her daughter, my cousin, she was ready for the next step and even though we are not ready still, Aunt Shirley certainly lived a life everyone in our family is proud of  and thankful for.

Shirley was a very good friend of mine, enjoying with Bruce many music festivals and great times.
