Twiggy it’s been so many years. But my memories of you ,us ! Are  still clear, as if they were yesterday, people don’t understand how raw the memories can be. Ohh Sean how I wish you could be with us on July 27th as Jake and Georgie marry , I know you will be smiling down on us all and your name will be shared on this special day,  I love being an Ouma to Nylah and Rowan and I see the cheekiest smile from them and think of you,  playing with them is such a joy , let's hope you see this from heaven , I love you brother and even though 8 years have passed I still miss you , saw a lovely quote that is so true , I still talk to you , my eyes still look for you but my heart knows your at peace , until you shout yellow to me again Sean love sis

I think of you everyday, I see you in everything.  Sometimes I think I'm ok then I'll have a thought or hear a sound or see something that makes me sad... I make myself remember something funny so I can smile.  There was never a day I didn't smile when you were with me.  You would say something silly or do something goofy and oh the faces you would make.  I found myself angry and taking it out on people around me because you were gone.  But I realize now that there was nothing I could have done to keep you here. I spent alot of time thinking I failed you.  I know you would have stayed if you could have. I miss you so much. I know I have to live.  I am so greatful for the time we had together and for the memories I get to keep.  I am blessed.  You are my heart and I carry you with me everyday, every moment. How time flies - to some quickly, others heartbreakingly slow.  A year without you must have been the hardest time for your loved ones as they lost a wonderful soul, their memories, and mine live on, of your smile, your kindness, your love, your wonderful spirit.  Memories are a precious thing and I will hold on to those of our childhood and your early years in the army. My dearest brother Sean it is almost a year since your passing and there is so much i wish i could say to you , hear your giggle or hold you close once more. It has become a little easier to think of you without breaking down and i can even smile through the tears when i remember little things from our childhood like the day you spent ages looking for elbow grease after mum told you to use it on the dishes! I know when we meet once more you will say to me armadillos chewy on the outside crunchy on the inside and i will be helpless with laughter as always. Sean, I hung out with you at high school and missed you with all my heart when you went to away with the army, but on your return we had loads of fun, you made me smile and treated me like a princess. Sean, you were a lovely bloke, a true Viking, quietly confident and supportive of others. You gave me kind words when I was the new boy in Support Company when it would have been easier to join in the banter and piss taking. Moral courage is what I will always remember about 'Twiggy'. Such a good guy, you will be remembered fondly.

Sean I have tried to write this so many times, only to delete it... It was not quite right. So I tried again and again... Still the same.... Emptiness.... That's how we feel now you have gone.  

Then I hear you laugh.... That little giggle.... The tears of happiness that rolled down your face, the fun and jokes you used to play on us and your family.

I see you in your uniform, proud, determined and strong. You have been an inspiration to many, with your courage and determination. 

You have been so happy since you met Shelly, living life as you wanted, you have always been loving, kind and gentle. You may have been hundreds of miles away, and even further now, but you will always be in my heart, I will always speak to little Elli about you. How my big brother was a hero to me!

Sean, as young un's I got on really well with your family but will always remember how seeing you in your cadet uniform inspired me to join the cadets and I never looked back.
