Robert Ray Wilfong

He was born January 12, 1939, in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, to parents Howard and Martha Alice (Hammons) Wilfong. He was affectionately known as Ray to family and friends.

Ray grew up in Pocahontas County, West Virginia before moving to Ravenna in 1973. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army. Ray retired from Longmeadow Care Center. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in his younger years.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife Wilma (Ray) Wilfong, who he married September 26, 1974. He is also survived by his son Bob (Lori) Wilfong, his daughter Debbie (Ryan) Hetzel, his step-daughter Drema (Tim) Herron, and his siblings: Tommy, Ricky, Betty, and Kay.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Clyde, Leo, Annabelle, and Sara.
