Robert William Luli

He was born September 7, 1922, in Rootstown, son of the late Joe and Dora (Biltz) Luli. As a child, Robert grew up on the family farm, and worked there as a young adult before moving to Ravenna.

Robert worked at Consolidated Mold & Die in Kent as a machinist until retiring in 1986. He later worked part-time at Giant Eagle in Ravenna. Mr. Luli was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.

Survivors include his children: Marjorie (Chuck) Joseph of Akron, Roberta Held of Ravenna, Joseph (Gini) Luli of Ravenna, and Bob (Cheryl) Luli of Rootstown; grandchildren: Robert and Nancy Joseph, Alex and Ryan Luli, Brad and Erik Luli; also survived by his sister-in-law: Grace Pitzer of Ravenna.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mildred (Knapp) Luli, son-in-law Samuel Held, and his sisters Beatrice, Clara, Lucille, and Hilda.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church, 3487 Old Forge Rd., Rootstown, OH 44272. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph.
