Robert William Bevington

Robert was born October 19, 1926, in Freedom, Ohio, to parents Harold and Pearl (Schroeder) Bevington. Bob worked as a carpenter and was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. He was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a missionary with Bearing Precious Seed in Milford, Ohio.

Survivors include his daughters: Sandra Crowley, Darlene Cottrill and Elaine (Randy) Weingart, as well as his grandchildren: Michael (Cassandra) Weingart, Brian (Jill) Weingart, Andrew Weingart and great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Katarina, Daniel, Abby, Lily and Konrad. Bob is also survived by his brother Harold (Denise) Bevington.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife June Louise Bevington on December 27, 2012. Bob was also preceded by his parents and his sister Ruth Plesotis.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 14, 2013, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor David Ballert officiating the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
