Rhoda L. Morgan Godfrey

She was born June 11, 1939, in Monaca, Pennsylvania, to parents Emmett and Bernice (Huffmyer) Morgan. Rhoda was a member of the Edinburg United Church. She loved to cook, bake, and collect recipes. Rhoda also loved flower gardening. Above all, she loved her grandkids and her family.

Rhoda is survived by her children: Cynthia (Rick) Stuart of Edinburg, Ruth (Gary) Kuntz of Edinburg, Todd (Robyn) Godfrey of Atwater, and Scott Godfrey of Charleston, South Carolina. Her memory will also be cherished by grandchildren: Erin (Adam) Morris, Emily (Paul) Grissom, Jacob (Kayla) Stuart, Benjamin (Crystal) Kuntz, Angela (Jeremy) DeWitt, Brandi (Jared) Smith, Leeann (Ronald) Currey, and great-grandchildren: Catey, Skylar, Noah, Carson, Chase, Allison, Jaxson, and Colton; as well as her sister Polly (Jack) McCracken, her sisters-in-law Anna Mae Boren and Nancy Morgan Winters, her brother-in-law William (Alyce) Godfrey, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward J. Godfrey on June 18, 2016, and her granddaughter Sara Godfrey, and her great-grandson Cole Kuntz.

Friends and family will be received Friday, February 3, 2017, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Edinburg United Church, 4081 Rock Spring Rd., Ravenna, with Pastor Timothy Paroz officiating. Interment will follow at Edinburg Cemetery.
