He was born September 14, 1935 in Freedom, Township to parents Frank and Amy (Alderman) Stanley. Ralph graduated from Garrettsville High School and was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Parish. He was retired after a 42-year career with the Farm Bureau. Ralph was one of the sweetest and kindest man known whom everyone loved. He enjoyed playing cards, loved bowling and dancing and was an excellent cook. He loved providing Sunday dinner for his family and all of their friends who would occasionally join them. His beloved wife and children were most important in his life.
Ralph is survived by his children: Debbie Pittinger, Connie (Dean) Zarbo, Mary (Milton) Page, Karen (Mark) Gaski and Ralph (Kathy) Stanley, as well as 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean Stanley in 2019, his daughter Terri Kaehne, son-in-law Paul Kaehne, and granddaughter Candice Anderson. Also preceding him were his brothers: Donald, Leroy, Ray, and James Stanley; and sisters: Donna Stanley, Corabell Kaser, Eleanor Vanderpool, Opal Vanderpool, Helen Podojil and Norma Walters.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 5pm-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Rev. William Kraynak, will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 11am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
