Patricia Lee Rogers Watkins

She was born June 14, 1928, in Pennsboro, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ray and Mildred Commella (Kiger) Rogers. Pat was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rootstown UCC. She worked as a cashier and bookkeeper for over 30 years at several Portage County A&P locations until her retirement in 1982. Most of all, Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring sister and daughter.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Argyl “Slim” Watkins, her sister Catherine Pierce, and her brothers Charles Rogers and Ray Rex Rogers. She is survived by her son Lowell Ray Watkins and his wife, Helga, of North Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Friends will be received Wednesday, January 16, 2013, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
