Nitta Louise McEwen

She was born August 9, 1963, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Jimmie Ernest and Dorsie Ellie (Taylor) Dent. Nitta was a member of Firm Foundation Ministry for many years. She enjoyed shopping, going to restaurants, and spending time with her family. Nitta was the type of person who would help anyone, including cats and dogs. She would take in strays and also make sure that her family had a place to stay.

Nitta is survived by her brother Mark Dent, her sister Anna Creque, and Isaiah McEwen, who Nitta raised and loved as her son. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Tara Creque, Vincent Creque, Marc (Crystal) Dent, and Tonya Dent.

Nitta was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob McEwen.

Her wishes for cremation are being honored. Nitta will be laid to rest beside her husband on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 12:45 PM, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
