Michael Joseph Rohrer

Michael had been a resident of Ravenna for more than twenty years in the Independence Inc. community and had worked at Portage Industries. Michael was very personable and would greet everybody with a bright smile and a “hi”. He liked music, especially country music and enjoyed attending concerts. Michael also loved to watch his favorite cartoons on TV.

Michael is survived by his sister Michele (Curtis) Reynolds. Also surviving are his niece Leigha (Thaddeus Tompkins) Rohrer-Barna, his nephews: Nicholas Barna and Donald Fozzard and his great-nephews: Michael Tompkins and Leonidas Fozzard.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Rohrer Jr. and his grandparents Howard and Sarah Rohrer Sr.

A Celebration of his Life will be held from 12:00pm until 1:30pm on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.

Michael’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone at Independence Inc. who cared for Michael over the years and a special thank you to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice care team that was there for us.
