Michael D. Brown

Michael was born to parents Alvah B. and Donna B. (LaGrange) Brown in Wadsworth, Ohio on June 15, 1962. He had enjoyed a long career as a truck driver and was retired from Northeast Express.

Michael was a member of the Geauga County Antique Tractor Pullers Association and his “Happy Place” was anytime on his tractor. He loved his animals, his dogs Frankie & Denali and his cats Bonnie & Clyde. Michael enjoyed farming in his younger days and in his spare time he loved to take naps.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Marilyn (Smith) Brown, his daughters Margo (Kyle Miller) White, Brett Brown and sons Michael (Chelsea) McCumbers, Casey, Cody, Cory and Joseph Brown. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his furry best friend “Dozer”.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4:00pm until the memorial service, officiated by Pastor Murray Bay, beginning at 6:00pm.
