Mary Ann Honeychuck

She was born April 25, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard and Mary Gienke. Mary Ann graduated from West Tech High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University. She married Robert in 1962 and traded in the city life to move to a farm in Brimfield Township, where they raised their two daughters.

Mrs. Honeychuck was a dedicated teacher at Suffield Elementary School for 30 years, and received the Jennings Scholar Award for outstanding educators. After retiring she traveled the world extensively.

Survivors include her husband Robert A. and her daughters Laurie of Cuyahoga Falls and Lisa of Medina.

Friends will be received Friday, December 10, 2010, from 4-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor David Ballert on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
