Leonard Jerome Reese

After graduating from East High School in 1969, he received a trade certification from McNeal and NRM Tool & Dye. An avid lover of family and the outdoors, Leonard was joyous, light-hearted, and never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lindsey and Sarah Sally Reese, brother Theodore (Teddy) Wright, favorite aunt Marcella Fitzgerald, and grandson Enrique Alejandro Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Jennifer Reese, daughters Shalaunda Reese, LaShaunda Reese, son Chauncey Brown, special daughter and granddaughter Kendra Reese and Novah George, sister Troy Ann (Clarence) Duckworth, adopted son and nephew Lester Reese, nephews Lindsey Duckworth, Larry Duckworth and Clarence Duckworth, grandchildren, Chauncey Jr, Felicia, Chavar, Niyauna and Carmen and a host of cousins great nieces, great nephews and great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to his team of doctors and nurses at UH Portage Medical Center, Dr. Johnson, Dr Nagineni, nurses Dave, Jennifer P and Toni.

A visitation for Leonard will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at United Church of Jesus Christ, Apostolic Faith, 420 S Prospect St, Ravenna, Ohio 44266, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
