There was no one in this world like Karen. She was a special person. Karen was always full of fun and loved being with her family. She was generous and kind. If you were with Karen you were guaranteed to laugh. She may be gone, but she will always be in here in our hearts. Rest in peace Karen.

Karen and Bill have been my neighbors first then friends for at least 15 years.  When I lost my husband 6 years ago Karen made sure to call every single day or multiple times a day to check on me and just talk, laugh or cry.  Her compassion and caring were beyond what I can even find the right words to express right now.  I’m so grateful for all the years of her and Bill’s friendship.  I will always and forever remember her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and unwavering positivity & great advice. Above all she  was a devoted wife and mom. They were her world.

Karen and I worked together for many years for Clinique.  We shared  hours, days and year's of laughter, friendship and the joys of raising boys while  working hard to achieve success.  Karen was smart, possessed common sense as well as astute business skills.  She was likeable,  caring; a great teacher, mentor and leader.  Her smile and laugh brightened every situation.  In 2004 Karen was selected out of hundreds of Clinique Consultant's to become a "Star To  New York".  She truly shined in New York City  as well as in every store and with every Clinique person she worked with.  Her priorities in life were Jeremy and Bill, her beloved family and her many cherished friends.  Karen's loyalty was unquestionable, her pride was earned and the  respect from all who knew her will never will never be forgotten.  My family and I are so thankful to have many wonderful memories with her.  I send prayers for Jeremy, Bill, her mother, family, Carol Norvel and all who are sad for her passing.  Peace and renewed health Karen.

Karen will be sadly missed by many, I will miss the late night texts . I will miss her calling to take the boys galavanting with her here there and everywhere “ just around the corner “.
Most of all Alec and Zach are full of the love her and Bill shared with them , they were much more than neighbors to them . All the memories we all have , fishing , driving to look at Xmas lights , swimming , always watching every practice and every game of any sport they played . Thank you Karen for the love you shared , rest in peace we all love you and will miss you .

Karen was a great mentor and friend for many years. We met in the work place where she taught me to do make up and manage a team of very talented young women.  I could never thank Karen enough for all the wonderful things she did for me and my family. Rest in peace dear friend and know your job was well done here on this earth. Heaven just received a new angel.

When I close my eyes and think of Karen, I see her HUGE smile and hear her warm laughter!  She was so positive, motivating and a great teacher to her beauty advisors.  She had an exceptional work ethic and was an outstanding role model.
     She was so proud of her son, Jeremy and enthusiastically shared his musical and personal accomplishments!
She loved her home and her life with her husband Bill.
     Karen was on my list of people "to reconnect with"- if you have such a list, elevate its importance because we never know how much time is left.  Make that call, plan that lunch, send that text! Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
     Keeping Karen's family close in thought and wishing them strength and comfort in the days ahead.
