Joyce Ann Mangold

Joyce was born July 6, 1940 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Raymond R. and Harrietta (Amos) Showalter.

She was a graduate of Buchtel High School and Hammel Business College.

Joyce was employed by the City of Akron, before leaving to raise her three children. Later she enjoyed working for Brimfield Schools as a playground aide and as well as in the school cafeteria.

Joyce was a member of High Street Christian Church in Akron, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Western Whirlers square dancers, Order of the Amaranth, and the Sweet Adeline’s singing group.

She is survived by her husband Delbert E Mangold, her son, Mark Allen (Margaret) Mangold, her daughters, Michelle Ann (Paul) Doyle, Melissa (Greg Muhlenkamp) Mangold; her eight grandchildren, Kaylee, Gabrielle, Shane, Emilee, Jake, Adelina, Sam, and Max.

The funeral service will be 3PM Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Chapel in Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
