Michael was born in Newark, Ohio to parents John C. and Mary (Booth) Watt. He was retired from the City of Akron. Michael was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan, antique collector and Jazz musician. What he really enjoyed was traveling with his family to the Carolina beaches.
Michael is survived by his children: J. Michael Watt II, Carol L. (Jim) Roth, Melissa (Peter) Coppel, J. Travis (Liz) Watt, and Justin (Jennifer Callahan) Watt. He also leaves his 11 grandchildren, brothers: J. Terry (Cynthia) Watt, John Watt and sister-in-law Brenda Varner.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and his wife Marlene Watt.
Friends will be received on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, to celebrate his life from 5:00pm until 7:00PM.
