Joseph D. Proudfoot

Joe was born in Ravenna, Ohio to parents David and Amy Proudfoot on September 1, 1982. He was a graduate of Crestview High School and worked as a machinist at CNC Precision Machine in Garrettsville for the past twelve years. Joe was a hard working guy and loved sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed riding his Harley and helping his dad work on old cars. He loved his dog “Brutus” and enjoyed hanging out with his nieces and nephew Braden, Devin and Kylee Wright. Family dinners was also a favorite of his.

Joe is survived by his father David (Andrea Stanley) Proudfoot and his grandparents James and Juanita Taylor of Lisbon, Oh. and Arlene Wellhausen. Surviving also are his sisters: Heather, Tiffany and Ashley and his aunts and uncles: Sherryl Roberts, Mary

Ann (Kyle) Fritch, Debbie (Bill) Root, Laurence (Dawn Brunton) Wright of Rootstown, Oh., Mike Soltis, Robert Proudfoot, Bill Wellhausen Jr. ad Joe Wellhausen.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Amy Proudfoot, sister Angela Proudfoot, grandfather William Wellhausen and great-grandmother “Gram” Mae Velisek.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna from 11:00am until the 12:00pm funeral service. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
