John Adam Coss, age 47 of Edinburg, passed away June 16, 2024, at his home. He was born April 27, 1977, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Betty L. (Hall) and Ralph S. Coss Sr., and was affectionately known as Adam to his family and friends.
Adam graduated from Southeast High School in 1995 and attended Kent State University. He was a talented musician and artist who loved life. Adam played the drums for several local bands including Slow Axe and Plastic Army Guys. He toured with bands such as Mushroomhead, and even jammed with Joe Walsh.
Adam also collected comic books and action figures. He enjoyed mingling with celebrities through his journeys. But most of all, he was a loving and doting father to his daughter Holly.
Adam is survived by his daughter Holly R. Coss, his parents Betty and Ralph Coss Sr., his brother Steve (Megan) Coss, as well as his adopted child Alec. Adam’s memory will also be cherished by many loving extended family members, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
