He was born March 5, 1979, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents David Roy and Mary Lou (Berg) Kline. Jimmy graduated from Rootstown High School and Maplewood Vocational School. He was a welder by trade, most recently working with CTP in Streetsboro and MAC Trailer in Kent. Jimmy also helped with the family tree farm and nursery in Rootstown.
He was a member of Grace Cathedral in Cuyahoga Falls and played for a while in their orchestra. Jimmy enjoyed listening to classical music and was quite the history buff, with an extensive knowledge of WWII. He also enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing.
Jimmy is survived by his parents Dave and Mary Lou Kline, and his brother Robert (Christine) Kline, along with many loving extended family members.
Close friends and family will be received Friday, June 19, 2020, from 10:30 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service officiated by Reverend Steve Millar following at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio. It is required that everyone attending the services wear a mask and practice social distancing. The number of individuals permitted in the funeral home at any one time will be limited. The family certainly understands if you do not feel comfortable with attending. Please do not attend the calling hours if you are feeling ill. The family thanks you for your patience and understanding. Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.
