He was born on November 20, 1933, to Victor and Clara (Englehart) Horning. Henry was a life-long resident of Randolph and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was employed in construction for H.M. Miller and B.G. Danes. Playing cards, gardening, and spending time with his family were mainstays throughout his life. He will be forever remembered as a devoted son and brother, dedicating his life to the care of his parents and his brother Jerome.
He is survived by brothers: James (Marcella) Horning and Fred (Dolores) Horning, 18 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Ray and Jerome Horning and sister-in-law, Joanne.
Family will receive visitors from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore, Ohio, 44260 with Father Ed Wieczorek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
