Louise was born to Arvin and Rhoda (Mauller) England in Selbyville, West Virginia, on September 9, 1932. She dedicated many years as a clerk at Lawson’s and Skorman’s before retiring to devote her time to homemaking. Louise was a cherished member of New Testament Baptist Church, actively participating in various church activities. She found joy in reading and frequented the library regularly. Louise had a deep love for ice cream, indulging in it nightly, and endeared herself as a mother figure to many. Louise was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, cheering on her team with passion.
In her later years, Louise discovered a newfound love for cats, bringing her great joy and companionship. She also loved attending her great-grandkids' sports games and practices, sharing in their victories and joys.
Above all, she adored her grandchildren Daniel (Lindsay Davis) Young and Felicia (Ryan) Seymour, and great-grandchildren Hollie & Danny Lee Young and Theodore Seymour.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband William (Bill) Young, and sons Danny Lee Young and Terry Lynn Young.
Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Monday, May 6, from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service officiated by Pastor Bob Burgess. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park will follow the service.
Louise’s family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Traditions Hospice and Tamarack Ridge (Kent Ridge) for their compassionate care.
