Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 18, 1926.
He was a truck driver hauling freight locally before retiring. Frank was a veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater with the U.S. Army. He had the privilege of driving General George Patton over the Rhine River. Frank was wisecracking, jokester kind of guy who always had a cigar in his mouth. He enjoyed camping and sitting around the campfire at his property in Pymatuning, Pa. Frank loved cookies and being with his family. In his spare time he had a shop where he tore down old tractors and built wagons for kids. Frank enjoyed helping people and was a member of the Teamsters and St. Joseph Church in Mantua.
Frank is survived by his son Mark (Christine) Gray and grandchildren: Jessica Gray, Bradley Gray, Alexis St. George and Zachary (Chelsea) St. George. Surviving also is his great-granddaughter Alexie St. George and many loving nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Phyllis Gray and his seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the Chapel at Grandview Memorial Park, 5400 Lakewood Rd. Ravenna, Ohio. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park with full military honors by the U.S. Army.
