He was born January 11, 1931, in Ravenna, a son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Cox) Bretti, Sr. Frank was a lifelong resident of Ravenna and retired from Romito Donnelly after 33 years of service. Mr. Bretti was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching horse racing at Northfield Park.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Luigina (Pantalone) Bretti in 1988. He was also preceded by his parents, his brothers Henry and Ralph Bretti, and his sisters Dorothy Dent and Molly Hamlin.
Survivors include his brothers John Bretti, Ronald (Bonnie) Bretti, Joseph Bretti; sisters: Anna Huggins, Lucelia Moman, Mary Ann (Gene) Russell, Cecelia (Lawrence) Spohn; brother-in-law: Bob Hamlin; sisters-in-law: Lee Bretti and Nancy Bretti; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and friend Joan Roth.
Friends will be received Monday, February 21, 2011, from 5-7 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Vernon White at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
