He was born July 31, 1938, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to parents Elmer and Marie (Bauer) Scott. Eugene attended Southeast Schools and retired from East Manufacturing.
He was a self-taught handyman who could fix, repair, or build nearly anything. Eugene especially enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his beloved wife Judy (Tennant) Scott, who he married January 21, 1961. Also surviving are his daughters: Laura Aylward and Holly (Bruce) Saxe, his siblings: Jerry (Jane) Scott, Susie DeWeese, Don (Tami) Scott, Betty (Moose) Squires, and Richard Scott, along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends, including Jim and Isaac.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald Scott, his son-in-law Jim Aylward, and his brother-in-law Paul DeWeese.
His wishes for cremation are being honored. A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
