Elena Giorgio, age 97 of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025. She was born on December 8, 1927, in Havana, Cuba, to her Eastern European parents, Stefan and Franziska (Jandrisevitz) Bosko. Elena lived in Cuba until she was 14, and then immigrated to the United States. She became a proud American citizen, and later married her husband, Guy Giorgio. They shared a wonderful life together.
Elena worked in manufacturing and was known for her work ethic. She enjoyed taking care of her home and yard, and enjoyed playing bingo and slots at the casino. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
Elena was preceded in death by her husband, Guy S. Giorgio, her parents, her siblings: Lillian Siegfried, Francisko Bosko, and Olga Salamon, and her nephew Michael Farhat. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law Rose Bosko.
