Earnie E. McCumbers

Earnie was born June 5, 1932 in West Virginia to the late Russell and Nellie (Workman) McCumbers. Earnie was a Rubber Moulder for many years working for Polson Rubber Company and QSR, Quality Synthetic Rubber of Twinsburg.

Earnie found serenity in sitting outdoors and listening to the birds. Over the years he enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his church, friends and family. Spring, Summer, Fall you could find Earnie in his favorite place, tending to his garden and flower beds.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, the former Betty Lou Helmick, his sister Ruth O'Malley, and his brothers, Vernon and Ronnie McCumbers.

He is survived by his sons, Michael and Daniel McCumbers; his grandchildren, Margo White and Michael Paul McCumbers; great grandchildren Mason, Matthew, Leah, Gabby, Noah, and Miranda; and a brother Roland McCumbers, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours for Earnie will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. The funeral service will be Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home. Entombment at Grandview Cemetery.
