Duane Alan Severt

He was born September 30, 1940, in Delaware, Ohio. Duane graduated from Buchtel High School and attended The University of Akron. Duane worked as an accountant for Marshall Rardin & Sons, Inc.

Trains were one of his main passions in life. Duane collected trains and as soon as he retired, he volunteered as a trainman for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Duane is survived by his beloved wife Deborah (Sabin) Severt, his son David (Melissa) Severt of Navarre, Florida, his daughter Gwynn (Rick) Severt of Northfield, Ohio, as well as two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents Frank Severt and Mary Alice (Balser) Severt Ritenour.
