Donna was born in Ravenna, Ohio on March 28, 1933 to parents Carl and Helen L. (Deneman) Ridenour.
She graduated from Ravenna High School and had attended Kent State. Donna enjoyed a long career as a quality control lab manager for Duracote Co. in Ravenna and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Donna loved traveling and had visited practically every national park in the U.S. She was happy wintering in Florida for many years and was passionate about reading. She visited the library many times a week. Favorite activities she enjoyed were playing cards, flower gardening and Sunday rides in the car. Donna enjoyed summertime in her gazebo and the birds she fed gave her enjoyment. She had a rare blood type and donated hers on a regular basis. Most important of all was her family and she adored babysitting the grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her children Glenn G. Burkey, Sue E. Burkey and Brett W. (Vickie) Burkey. She also leaves her step-children Connie Mead, Arthur (Roxanne) Blair Jr. and Edward (Stephanie) Blair. Her beloved grandchildren Jessie (Bonnie) Burkey, William (Amber) Burkey, Patricia Burkey, Brandon Burkey and Stephanie Burkey will forever cherish her memory. She also leaves 11 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
