David Alan Wimer

Dave was born in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Robert Laverne and Elaine Barbara (Hoffman) Wimer on January 21, 1959. Dave enjoyed his work as a CNC machinist for Swagelok in Solon, retiring after 15 plus years of service. He liked to trade stocks, loved cats and was a HUGE Ohio State Football fan.

Survivors include his mother Elaine, brother Gary (Jill) Wimer, brother Jeff Wimer, sister Barb (Chris) Hulak, nephews Nick (Heather) Wimer, Shawn (Lydia DeVincent) Hulak, Logan Hulak and 2 great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father Robert Wimer.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4pm until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Laurie Metzko, beginning at 6pm. Private family graveside service will be held at Grandview Memorial Park.
