He was born April 21, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Frank and Stella (Kurczynska) Ross. David graduated from Lincoln High School in Tremont. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
David retired from the Chrysler Parts Division in Streetsboro in 1999 and was a member of UAW Local 573. He loved his Chrysler American muscle cars and enjoyed attending Akron Rubber Ducks games.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Betty (Knavel) Ross, his daughter Debbie Ross, his son David F. (Shannon) Ross Jr., and his sister Barbara Ross.
David’s request for cremation is being honored and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend William Kraynak on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Private inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
