Dale C. Alfred

Dale was born March 3, 1916 in Enid, Oklahoma to parents Albia and Rosetta Alfred. He enjoyed a career in flooring installation and was co-owner of Canfield Floors for many years. After retirement he spent time working part time at the Beloit IGA. Dale loved to golf, participating in many leagues over his lifetime and liked to bowl in his earlier years. He liked to play cards and really found enjoyment gardening and working in his yard.

Surviving Dale is his sons: Richard (Sue) Alfred and Jerry (Lynn) Alfred and daughters: Carol (Mike) Estok and Sue (Gary) Prosser. Surviving also is his very special friend and companion, Shirley Biles. Dale also leaves his brother, Paul (Mae) Alfred, 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Alfred, his son, Kenneth Alfred, brothers: Stanley, Robert, and Carl, his sister, Marjorie.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at 3:00PM on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Atwater United Methodist Church, 6380 Waterloo Rd., Atwater with Reverend William Nicewarner officiating.
