Corey was born November 20, 1990 to Jeff B. Yaw and Rhonda R. Yaw. Corey was a son, a brother, an uncle, and dear friend.
Corey worked alongside his father at Ravenna Truck Service. He attended the Redemption Chapel in Stow. Corey was a friend of Bill.
He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking and working out. Fitness was paramount to Corey and he enjoyed powerlifting, which he started as a hobby with his older brother and continued his entire life. Corey loved his companion and best friend Jake Theodore the dog. If you saw Corey outside of work or the gym, you likely saw him with Jake. Corey was a deep thinker, a modern day philosopher. He was a natural engineer and always willing to help. If you had a technical problem, he could fix it with ease. He enjoyed Trivia with his friends and recently got into cooking. Corey loved spending time with his family and playing with his nieces and nephews, who equally enjoyed the time spent with their uncle, lovingly called "Uncle Cookie". Corey was always there to help and show support. He will be dearly missed.
Corey is preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Jeff B. Yaw, his mother, Rhonda R. Yaw; his brother Nick (Emily) Yaw, and his sister Amber (Andrew) Holung; nieces, Peyton (Gallagher), Willow and Matilda Yaw; and nephews Lucas and Liam Holung.
