Constance C. Cady

Connie (nee Bailey) Cady, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November, 7, 2011, after an extended illness. She was born April 3, 1937, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio, where she also passed away.

Connie joined the Air Force after graduating from Buchtel High School in 1955, and had an associate degree in accounting. She loved the quiet peace of living in the country, where she could be close to animals and nature.

Connie is preceded in death by her son Ron and grandson Steve. She is survived by her husband Lee; children Brett Cady, Heather (Bill) Lambert, Barb (Greg) Yoerg, Ken (Liz) Cady, Karen (Guy) Strang, and Brian (Kathleen) Cady; sister Annette Kittle; brother Brent (Darlene) Theophilus; brother-in-law Ron (Sharon) Pinney; and many loved nieces, nephews, and their children. Connie is irreplaceable in the hearts of her grandchildren: Devin, Brieyla, Erin, Shawnna, Jason, Julie, Jennifer, John, Carly, Jackson, Reagan, Billy, Michael, and Bailey; great-grandchildren: Elliot, Ryan, MacKenzie, Alyia, Julian, and Ian.

Cremation has taken place with interment at West Cemetery in Palmyra Township. A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Don Booth at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Palmyra United Methodist Church, 3968 State Route 225, Diamond, Ohio 44412.
