He was born December 21, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, to parents Betty L. (Sommers) and Charles Edward Rowland. Chuck graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1975 and later from NIT in Cuyahoga Falls.
Chuck was a biomedical engineer tech for Clinical Technology, Inc. for many years and was a member of St. Peter of the Fields Parish. He played football in high school and continued to follow the sport as an avid Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In his earlier years Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed listening to classic rock, playing cards, and getting together with his buddies.
Chuck is survived by his wife Kathy (Perretta) Rowland, who he married August 29, 1987. He is also survived by his daughters Valerie Rowland and Keira Rowland, his brother Wayne Rowland, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
His wishes for cremation are being honored and no formal services are planned at this time. Special thanks to the compassionate staff of KentRidge Senior Living Center and the Traditions Hospice Team for the dedicated care given to Chuck, and also to Chuck’s boss Dennis Forchione, at Clinical Technology, Inc. for all his care and support during Chuck's illness.
