Carol Ann Myers

Carol was born on July 1, 1941 in Harrisburg, Pa. to parents Carl and Marie Wenner. She had been retired from the Waterloo School District where she had been a bus driver for 20 years. Carol was a member of the Ravenna American Legion Post 331. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing bingo and she also liked to knit and make crafts. Most important in her life were her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her children: Debbie Durham, Richard (Darla) Myers, Jeff Myers, Jerry (Laura) Myers and Terri (Michael) Shoyat. She will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, her sister Patricia (Larry) Phillips and many loving nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Donald P. Myers who passed away in 1996, her brothers: Milton Wenner and Gary Wenner and her grandson Kyle Myers.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM where funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bob Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
