Beverly Belle Montgomery

She was born February 25, 1937, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, to parents Melvin and Hazel (Thompson) Dye. Beverly was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, who had a kind soul. She loved spending time with her family and made sure that no one left her home hungry. She also enjoyed watching TV, the outdoors, and getting her hair done.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband James O. Montgomery, Sr.; her children: Debbie (Randy) Woods, James (Karen) Montgomery Jr., Tami (Jim) Walker, and David Montgomery; her son-in-law Robert Adkins; as well as 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Wilma “Cookie” Adkins, and her sisters Shirley Sunder and Hazel Dye, and her brother Sonny Dye.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with Pastor Darrel Libengood officiating her funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
