Barbara Jean Whitaker

Barbara Jean (Heald) Whitaker, 82, of Ravenna, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by her family on March 27, 2023 in Ravenna, Ohio.

Lovingly called Barb, she was born November 3, 1940 in Warren, Ohio. The daughter of Melbourne & Irene (Morrell) Heald. She married William R Whitaker April 23, 1963 in Georgia. She retired from Performance Elastomers. Barb enjoyed camping with family and going to auctions.

Barb is survived by a son, Scott W. Whitaker, of Ravenna, her grandchildren: Jennifer, Danielle, Nicholas, Kyle, and Annamarie, and her great-grandchildren: Connor, Thomas, Isabella, Taylor, Adalyn, Patience, Peyton, and Pierce. She is also survived by her brother Robert (Peggy) Heald of Chardon, brothers and sister-in-law Fred and Herb Whitaker and Barbara Aleshire, as well as her special niece Linda Boggs, many family, friends, cousins, and her dog Tinker.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband, sisters Cora, Sharane, Beatrice, a brother Malcolm, and many other relatives.
