Barbara Virginia Kline

Barbara was born to Walter and Dorothy Ensinger in their home in Kent, Ohio on September 18, 1937. Barbara graduated from Kent State High School in 1955 and worked in banking until her marriage in 1965 to husband, Henry J. Kline. She then spent the rest of her years raising her family and tending the family farm. Barbara was a member of St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar & Rosary society and also on the Historical Church Committee. She co-founded a mission within the church to aid and assist their sister church in Beattyville, Ky. Barbara enjoyed her work on the farm and loved to drive the combine. She liked quilting very much and loved her family and grandchildren.

Surviving Barbara is her husband of 47 years, Henry J. Kline and her children: Amy (Adam Stall) Kline, Amanda (Mike) Boyle and Stephen (Misty) Kline. Surviving also are her grandchildren: Henry P., Jocelyn, Gary, Stephanie, Rebecca and Krystal. She also leaves her brother Milton (Susie) Ensinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am by Reverend David Misbrener on Monday, May 14, 2012 at St. Peter of the Fields Church, 3487 Old Forge Rd., Rootstown, Ohio 44272. Interment will follow at St. Peter of the Fields Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Akron General MICU, Select Specialty, Hospice Palliative Care in Fairlawn and the Rootstown Fire Department for the special care and attention given to Barbara.
