Anthony Joseph LaCivita was called to heaven in the peace of his home, on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Born in Ravenna to Joseph and Paula LaCivita on September 11, 1987, Anthony always showed a passion for enjoying every moment. Anthony lived for adventure whether it was kayaking or long bike rides, or fishing and hunting with his father.
Anthony also shared his passion for exercise and lifting with many friends over the years and helping many with weight loss and nutrition. Anthony also loved spending time with his family. From laying out in the pool during the summer, working on cars with his father, to making homemade noodles with his mother, grandmother and sister every year for an amazing Christmas Eve dinner.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Michael LaCivita and will be missed by his mother and father; Joe and Paula LaCivita, his sister Erica (Niko) Louis, his grandmothers he loved spending time with; Tran LaCivita and Geri Mathews. He will also be missed by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends that brought him so much joy throughout his truly amazing time on Earth.
Friends and family will be received Friday, February 26, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with funeral services officiated by Reverend William Kraynak at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. All guests must wear a mask and practice social distancing. The family certainly understands if you do not feel comfortable with attending.
