She was born January 22, 1962, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to parents Peter John and Marcene (Griffith) Sorboro. Amy graduated from Rootstown High School in 1980.
Amy was a very talented cook and pastry chef working most recently at Bricco in Kent, Ohio. When she wasn’t cooking, Family and friends were Amy’s passion and delight. "Make me a bicycle clown"
Amy loved to be outside in the fresh air and under the stars. Whether that was at home, the beach, a girl’s trip or with friends and family outside in her wine room. "I'm right on top of that Rose"
Her sincerity, passion, sense of humor and huge smile were trademarks that we will forever remember and be inspired by. She leaves behind a family that will continue to love and honor her each and every day.
At the blueness of the skies, the warmth of the summer, whistling of fall leaves and blanket of winter we will remember her. We love you Mame and remember “Forget it Frank, we have cash”
