Zane Delwin Hedgepeth

Zane was born in Myrtle Beach, SC. His Dad was in the Air Force and they moved approximately every 3 years. His favorite place that he ever lived besides North Carolina was Hawaii. Zane graduated from Millbrook High School and attended one year of college at Appalachian State University. Zane always loved cars and one of his favorite cars was a Dutsun 240Z. It was something when he drove that car to Millbrook with a Hawaii license plate. All the girls loved him.

Zane always loved NC State and most sports. He loved meeting new people and would love to say Shaka Brah and teach them the shaka sign. Waitresses everywhere in Raleigh know the shaka sign because of Zane. Zane was well loved and will be missed by all his family and friends. Zane used to do a food shuttle with his friend Joe.

All of North Ridge liked Zane and would often see him walking from his Dad’s house to his Mom’s to play gin rummy his favorite card game which he played daily.

He is survived by both his parents, Willis and Ann Hedgepeth, his older sister Desiree (Charlie), his younger sister DorLisa Berg (Warren), his ex-wife Terry MacAllister, and his son Ethan Hedgepeth.
