Young was born on February 17, 1933 in South Korea, she worked hard to support her family, both financially and then later to help her children’s businesses grow. She had two sons, Sun Woong and Hyun Woong, and one daughter, Mi Sun.
Young had a heart of gold. She was well known for her kindness, showing kindness to anyone and everyone, never showing anger or malice in any situation. She never complained and was always positive. Her genuine kindness was one of a kind, even transcending language barriers to make friends with strangers. She was truly the most selfless person in every way. She gave not only financially, but also with her time and possessions. She was always giving, not only to her family and friends, but to everyone. Her attachments were not to material things, but to people and it showed in her everyday actions.
She loved to spend time with her family, even if just sitting and watching her grandchildren, and later great grandchildren, playing together. She also loved to play a Korean Card Game called HwaToh, always playing together with family and friends. She was the nucleus of her multi-generational family, always bringing smiles and laughter.
Young is survived by her three children, Sun Woong, Hyun Woong, and Mi Sun, her brother Jung Tae, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services and visitation for Young will be private.
