William Drew Andrew Youngblood

Drew was a graduate of Broughton High School (Class of 1997), and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He continued his studies at BB&T College at Wake Forest University and went on to become a successful commercial banker with BB&T and Eagle Bank in the Washington D.C. area.

Drew was predeceased by his father, Thomas J. Youngblood III, and his grandfathers, William Casper Holroyd, Jr., and Reverend Thomas J. Youngblood, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Bowers, and step-father, Daniel Bowers. Also surviving are his brother, Scott Youngblood and his wife, Vanda (niece, Hermione ); his sisters, Christine Youngblood (Bill, Rebecca, Gwendolyn) and Jenny Campbell (Al, Lucy, and Spencer); his grandmothers, Mary Holroyd and Kathryn Youngblood; aunts and uncles, Judy and George Banks, Jane and John Holding; cousins, John and Jennifer Holding, Jacob, Betty Ann Holding, Kaye, Bill Mulkeen, and Lucy Mulkeen.

He dearly loved and will be missed by his beloved cat, Athena.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, 2209 Fairview Rd., Raleigh, NC 27608. The family will receive friends following the service in the church. A private family burial will precede the service.
