It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of William Richard “Chip” Love at the young age of 41. Although he was born in Doylestown, PA, he lived most of his life in Raleigh, NC graduating from Sanderson High School in 1992. He moved to Fuquay-Varina in 2007 where he became an active member of Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church and eventually earning his proudest accomplishment of becoming a Stephen Minister.
Chip leaves behind his mother, Helen Turner and step-father, W. Thomas Turner of Willow Spring, his sister, Courtney Love of Clayton, his nephew Marc Kanner and step-nephew Brandon Abbott, half-brother Kevin Love of Wenonah, NJ, step-mother Dian Love of Wenonah, NJ, step-brother David Balanda of Souderton, PA, and step-sister Michelle Steer (Tony) and nieces Shannon and Hannah. Also mourning his loss is numerous extended family including Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He was pre-deceased by his brother Bryan Turner, his father William Love, Jr, and all of his Grandparents.
The family expresses special thanks to Carolyn and Tom Lynch, Kimberly and Andy Moore, and Debbie and Jay Wade for giving extra help in setting up his homes during his lifetime. Also to his special neighbors who always brightened his day with their kind words and friendship.
Chip loved the Lord and shared the gospel with everyone he met. It is for that reason that flowers are welcome but if you prefer to make a donation in his name they can be made to the Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church, 100 Judd Parkway, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 or the charity of your choice.
