Wendy dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren; lovingly involved in their daily lives. She enjoyed her role as wife, mother and grandmother and planning her weekend “get- a-ways”.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Brian Pippin; son, Roderick C. Pippin and fiancé Elizabeth, of Raleigh; daughter, Kristina P. Wainwright and husband Richard, of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Zoe, Emma, Avery and Anabel; her parents; one brother and three sisters; and other family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue). Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11 AM at the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
