Wanda Price Fox, 58, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully and quietly, on Monday, February 5, 2024. Wanda Ann Price was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 18, 1965. She is survived by her husband: Michael, daughter: Kat Fox of Raleigh, Betty Fox of Raleigh, David and Richelle Fox of Raleigh, Hannah, Jerry, Abigail and Dylan Fox of Raleigh, Leslie Fox of Raleigh, extended loving family and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter Madeline Fox on May 14, 2020, her son Kevin Fox on January 26, 2024, her sister Lynn Butcher, her father Leon Price, and her mother Ruby Price. The reunion that Wanda, Madeline, and Kevin are having is surely a joyous time for them all.
Wanda and Michael were married for over 31 years and raised three beautiful children in Raleigh together. Wanda was a completely devoted mother and best friend to her tribe. When Kevin’s neurological disease progressed during his life, Wanda was the ultimate champion and caregiver, leading the way in navigating his rare disease, the complex medical community, and the multitude of treatments and medicines needed to provide Kevin the most comforting and caring environment possible at home. She absolutely adored her two girls. They were an inseparable threesome of close friends with the deepest of bonds.
No matter what life threw at her, Wanda made it a priority to take care of her mind, body, and soul through daily practices of yoga, Peloton biking and rowing, and full body stretching. She kept a positive outlook in even the toughest of situations in the spirit of being an anchor for her family to whom she gave so much love and energy.
She will forever be remembered as an incredibly lovely, thoughtful, and compassionate human being, mom, and wife. Goodbye sweet angel in heaven, we will always love you and we will forever have a brighter future because you were in our life.
