Vivian E. Corbacio

Vivian Ethel Corbacio, 70, passed away on Saturday morning, June 26, 2010 at Rex Hospital. Born on November 5, 1939 in New Orleans, LA; she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lillie Couch Sydboten.

Vivian was a retiree of the News & Observer and prior to relocating to the Raleigh area in 1994, she was a secretary in the Guidance Department in the Middletown, NY school district for 29 years.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Dominick Corbacio, whom she married on June 22nd just 48 years ago; by their daughter: Lisa Robbins, her husband Mike and their children Lauren and Matthew, of Raleigh; sisters: Ann Landry and husband Bob, of Harahan, LA and Joan Molaison and husband Bobby, of Gretna, LA; by her brother-in-law: Joe Corbacio, of Goshen, NY and sister-in-law: Regina Corbacio, of Middletown, NY; and by other family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (7109 E. Millbrook Road). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11 AM at the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi (11401 Leesville Road).
