Jim Poppell introduced me to Thrift. Jim treasured their friendship. I was lucky enough to enjoy Thrift's good humor and wise counsel. He was a good friend and a joy to know.

His leadership and commitment were an inspiration. I will be forever in his debt for the support he gave me as a new Field Representative in SC. A man of courage and conviction. Thank you, Thrift.

A good, honest, and compassionate man. I worked with Thrift at ACS and always appreciated his down home common sense approach to our Mission. A life lived well!
